Chapter 1.60: New Neighbor Part II

Serene It was early the next the morning my phone went off with a message from Zeta, and I had to laugh because it wasn't just one message it was five different messages. The first of which was asking me to meet him in San Myshuno and the last four were apologizing for getting my number from my thoughts. I sent him a quick message and then changed into another outfit; my hair was a bit terrible this morning so I just pulled it back. A little while later I was at the Waterside Warble and went over to where she saw Zeta saw me as he stood up. "Lovely, did you like my good morning messages?" Zeta asked, laughing. I was a little confused because I wasn't sure what I was suppose to say in response to him. "Please don't be angry with me as I couldn't help but get your number from you," he said, a little more apolo

Serene "Who might you be?" came an odd sounding voice from a short distance away. I looked up from my chess board to see a white blue alien staring at me with what she thought was s omething between wonder and admiration.  "I wasn't aware of another alien moving into the neighborhood," I said calmly. So for the first time, you will hear from Seth! Warning, this chapter also contains mention of sexual abuse! Seth I told them that we could continue this discussion upstairs and showed the man who claimed to be my biological father and the woman upstairs. Of course, Rylan had to come with us as he didn't want to be left alone and I was relieved when Valentine showed up but what as she came up the stairs she smiled warmly. "Father," Valentine whispered, tears forming her eyes. I looked between her and the man who now had even more tears streaming down his face. "I can't believe it," she choked out. "Val, you know him?" I asked, holding my irritated toddler even closer.  "Seth.... you don't remember our father? Not the man who we lived with before we ra

Tabitha    I could hardly sit still on the way to the house, and the closer we got the more butterflies I had in my stomach. This was it, after four years of searching and not finding anything we were finally about to find them after all this time. I could even see Daddy was nervous, and every time I said something about it was the same response. He would tell me to not get my hopes up, but how could I not have high hopes right now? I might be meeting my half-siblings after so many years of thinking I was an only child.  "Here we are, darling," Daddy said. The two of us sat there in the car for what felt like forever before he finally reached for the door. I followed suit, and took a deep breath at the same time. I sighed, and walked quickly over to the front door.I didn't knock until he was standing a little behind me, and then waited for someone, anyone, to open the door.  No one did, it didn't even sound like anyone lived here. Did Hayden lie to me? He
